Deck and Pergola

Built in Monroeville, PA this deck is tucked away, hidden from commuters.

We first started by having the old deck torn down and cut up for scrap, soon after we began building the substructure. With this we used 2x10" boards. This helps to support an enormous amount of weight on the deck. a party can easily be hosted on top of the deck, even an afternoon brunch. 

The biggest thing that we take pride in is the pergola. The pergola is lagged into the decking substructure and has a modern Asian design to it.

We finished the deck off with a semi Transparent stain. The deck and pergola are two different colors that were meant to contrast each other.
